Ethel's Lounge has been around forever and I swear their prices forgot to adjust with inflation. This is probably the cheapest place you can get any food in Waterloo, not to mention good home style food. Being close to the Universities would make you think that it would be hopping with young kids but I think they never really noticed the place. It really isn't all that big. Mondays you can get Ethel's jr burger for $3.99, Tuesdays four beef tacos for $2!! Their regular menu is not much more expensive. I really like Ethel's.
